Dr. Workman attended medical school at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed a surgical internship at the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson.
He completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center, where he was awarded the Burnell R. Brown Award for Outstanding Resident and served as academic chief resident.He received his fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, he enjoyed football and track at Skyline High School and was elected Junior and Senior Class President, then spent two years in church missionary service in Siberia, Russia.He returned to study at Brigham Young University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. A husband and proud father of nine, he enjoys hiking, camping, the outdoors, and time with his family.
